Kolacky

  1. Scald, cream and cool.
  2. Add yeast and sugar.
  3. Let stand 10 minutes.
  4. Cut butter into flour as for pie crust.
  5. Add salt, yeast mixture and egg yolks to flour mixture.
  6. Stir and beat to form smooth soft dough.
  7. Cover tightly and let rise in warm place for 1 hour.
  8. Turn out onto a lightly floured board and roll to 1/4-inch thickness.
  9. Cut with round 1 1/2-inch biscuit cutter.
  10. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
  11. Make indentations in center and fill with fruits.
  12. Let rise 15 minutes.
  13. Bake in 400u0b0 oven for 15 to 20 minutes until lightly brown.
  14. Remove from cookie sheet to cooling rack.
  15. Dust with powdered sugar.
