Creamy Cauliflower Or Broccoli Soup

  1. Cook cauliflower or broccoli, covered, in small amount of boiling salted water about 10 minutes or until tender.
  2. Drain and chop into coarse pieces.
  3. Set aside.
  4. Cook onions in butter until tender.
  5. Blend in the flour.
  6. Stir in broth, milk and the Worcestershire sauce.
  7. Cook and stir until mixture thickens slightly.
  8. Add cooked vegetable.
  9. Bring to a boil; stir in cheese until it melts.
  10. Garnish with snipped chives or onion tops.
