Slow Cooker Chicken
- 2 Tbsp. frozen orange juice concentrate
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 2 c. water
- 1/2 c. catsup
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
- 12 pieces broiler-fryer (thigh, drumstick or breast, about 3 1/2 lb.)
- 1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges, drained
- 1/2 c. pitted ripe olives, quartered
- 2 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- The night before
- or
- early
- in
- the
- morning,tombine frozen orange juice concentrate, salt and pepper with 1 cup of the water, the catsup, soy sauce, brown sugar, mustard, garlic salt and ginger.
- Mix well and pour into a large bowl.
