Mel'S Lasagna
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 lb. beef
- 2 tsp. garlic powder
- 2 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
- 3 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 8 oz. lasagna noodles
- 6 chopped green onions
- 1 (4 oz.) cream cheese
- 1 (8 oz.) sour cream
- 1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 lb. Mozzarella cheese
- Brown meat in butter. Drain fat. Add garlic powder, salt, pepper, sugar and tomato sauce.
- Boil, cover and simmer 20 minutes.
- (Cook noodles, drain and rinse in cold water.) Mix soft cream cheese, sour cream and onions.
- Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan. Add sauce. Drop cream cheese mixture by spoonfuls. Add layer of cheeses.
- Add layer of noodles.
- Repeat layers until sauce is gone (approximately 3 layers).
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 30 minutes.
