Oatmeal Caramelitas

  1. Combine 2 cups flour, oatmeal, brown sugar, soda and margarine.
  2. Press 1/2 mixture into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  3. Bake at 350u0b0 for 10 to 15 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts over baked crust.
  5. Mix caramel sauce and 6 tablespoons flour.
  6. Drizzle caramel mixture over nuts and chips. Sprinkle remaining oatmeal mix over top and pat down (lightly) to make a crust.
  7. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until melted and golden brown.
  8. Chill before cutting into squares.
