Mama'S Stuffed Bell Peppers(Spicy Version!)
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped fine
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. celery salt
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 c. cooked white rice
- 6 large green bell peppers
- 1/2 c. A.1. steak sauce
- 1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
- 1 lb. cubed Velveeta cheese
- grated Cheddar cheese (to cover tops of stuffed bell peppers)
- In skillet, brown meat and cook onion until done; drain. Cook rice (about 20 minutes) according to package directions. Halve pepper, remove seeds and boil until slightly tender, about 8 minutes. Place in a casserole dish. Add seasonings, meat, rice and all ingredients (except Cheddar cheese) together and mix well; should be moist. Stuff peppers. Top with Cheddar cheese. Bake in oven at 350u0b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
