Greek Salad(Elliniki Salata)

  1. Wash dry and tear lettuce into pieces.
  2. Place in a large salad bowl that has been rubbed with cut garlic. Cut up remaining vegetables as desired; add to lettuce.
  3. Add salt and pepper and toss.
  4. Serve with dressing that consists of 1 part lemon juice or wine vinegar to 2 parts olive oil.
  5. Garnish with feta cheese, olives and
  6. anchovies. Sprinkle with fresh herbs or dried oregano.
