Bacon-And-Clam Pizza
- 2 bacon slices
- 1 1/2 cups sliced onion
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 (1-pound) Italian cheese-flavored pizza crust (such as Boboli)
- 1/2 cup reduced-fat Alfredo sauce (such as Contadina)
- 2 (6 1/2-ounce) cans chopped clams, drained
- 1/3 cup (1 1/2 ounces) preshredded fresh Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- Preheat oven to 400u0b0.
- Cook bacon in a nonstick skillet over medium heat until crisp. Remove bacon from pan; crumble. Set aside. Add onion and thyme to bacon drippings in pan; saute 6 minutes over medium-high heat until lightly browned. Stir in pepper. Place crust on a baking sheet. Spread Alfredo sauce over crust; top with onion mixture, clams, bacon, and cheese. Bake at 400u0b0 for 12 minutes or until cheese melts. Sprinkle with parsley.
