Rapidrise Pizza Dough
- 3 to 3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 pkg. RapidRise yeast
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. very warm water (125~ to 130~)
- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- cornmeal
- In large bowl, combine 2 cups flour, undissolved yeast and salt.
- Stir very warm water and oil into dry ingredients.
- Stir in enough remaining flour to make soft dough.
- Knead dough on lightly floured surface until smooth and elastic, about 4 to 6 minutes. Cover; let rest on floured surface for 10 minutes.
- Lightly oil 1 (14-inch) or 2 (12-inch) round pizza pans.
- Sprinkle with cornmeal.
- Form dough into smooth ball.
- Roll dough to fit pans. Add own sauce and toppings.
- Bake in preheated 400u0b0 oven for 20 to 30 minutes or until done.
- Time depends on size and thickness of crust and toppings.
