Venison Cheeseburger Pie
- pie crust (single)
- 1 lb. ground venison
- 1/2 lb. hot sausage
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1/4 c. onion, chopped
- 1/4 c. green pepper, chopped
- 1 egg
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- Worcestershire sauce
- 2 c. shredded cheese
- Heat oven to 425u0b0.
- Prepare pie crust for 9-inch pie.
- In skillet, brown meats and drain.
- Stir in 1 teaspoon salt, oregano, pepper, bread crumbs, tomato sauce, onion and green pepper.
- Pour into shell.
- Mix together 1 egg, 1/4 cup milk, 1/2 teaspoon salt, Worcestershire sauce and shredded cheese.
- Pour this mixture over meat mixture and bake for 30 minutes.
- Preparation time 1 hour. Serves 4.
