Grilled Spiced Pork Patties With Greens
- 1 pound ground pork
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1/2 onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh parsley
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- Salt
- 1 cup plain whole-milk yogurt
- 1 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 10 cup mixed salad greens
- Preheat gas grill to medium. In a large bowl, combine pork, coriander, cumin, cinnamon, nutmeg, egg, onion, parsley, 1 clove garlic and 1 tsp. salt. Mix thoroughly with your hands. Form mixture into 1 1/2-inch balls, then press into football shapes.
- Oil grill grates. Grill patties, turning once, until cooked through, 8 to 10 minutes total.
- In a small bowl, combine yogurt, lemon juice, 1/2 tsp. salt and remaining garlic. Divide salad greens among 4 serving plates. Top with patties and drizzle with yogurt sauce. Serve immediately.
