Spinach Lasagna
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
- 1 1/2 tsp. basil
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 1/2 tsp. parsley flakes
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1 (16 oz.) carton small curd cottage cheese
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 pkg. chopped spinach, thawed and drained
- 1 c. grated Mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 pkg. lasagna noodles, cooked
- Brown beef and add onions.
- Add next 10 ingredients and simmer for 1 hour.
- Combine cottage cheese, egg and spinach.
- Lightly grease a 9 x 13-inch baking pan and layer ingredients as follows: noodles, half of meat sauce, noodles, cheese and spinach mixture and remainder of sauce.
- Top with Mozzarella cheese.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for about 40 minutes.
