Frosted Tweety Cake
- 3 c. flour
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1 c. Wesson oil
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 3/4 c. chopped pecans
- 2 c. chopped bananas
- 1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple (undrained)
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
- Cream Cheese Frosting
- In a
- large bowl, combine first 5 ingredients; add eggs and oil.
- Stir only until dry ingredients are moistened.
- Stir in vanilla,
- 3/4
- cup
- pecans,
- bananas
- and pineapple.
- Pour batter evenly
- into
- 3
- greased
- and floured 9-inch round cake pans. Bake
- at
- 350u0b0
- for 25 to 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in
- center
- comes out clean.
- Let cool in pans for 10 minutes before trying to remove.
- Invert on wire racks and let cool completely.
- Spread Cream Cheese Frosting between layers, around sides
- and
- on
- top;
- sprinkle top with 1/2 cup chopped pecans.
