Double Fudge Saucepan Brownies

  1. Cook sugar, butter or margarine and water in medium saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly until mixture boils.
  2. Remove from heat.
  3. Immediately stir in 1 cup chips, stirring until melted.
  4. Stir in eggs and vanilla until blended.
  5. Combine flour, baking soda and salt.
  6. Add to chocolate mixture.
  7. Stir in remaining 1 cup chips and nuts.
  8. Pour into greased 9-inch square pan.
  9. Bake at 325u0b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
  10. Cool completely.
  11. Cut into bars.
  12. Makes 1 1/2 dozen bars.
