Country Supper Soup

  1. In a heavy 2-quart saucepan, heat chicken, onion and garlic in butter until onion is transparent.
  2. Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
  3. Cover and bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer 30 minutes.
  5. Remove bay leaf before serving.
  6. Serves 6 to 8.
