Christmas Ribbon Salad

  1. Dissolve each flavor of gelatin separately in 1 cup boiling water.
  2. Add 3/4 cup cold water to the cherry gelatin.
  3. Pour into a 9 x 13-inch pan; chill until set.
  4. Blend lemon gelatin mixture into softened cream cheese, beating until smooth.
  5. Add pineapple with syrup.
  6. Blend in Cool Whip and mayonnaise; mix well.
  7. Pour this mixture over red layer; chill until set.
  8. Mix 3/4 cup cold water to lime gelatin; chill slightly.
  9. Pour over lemon mixture. Chill until firm, at least overnight.
  10. Makes 8 cups or 16 servings.
