Sausage Cheddar Quiche
- 1 lb. hot sausage
- 1 lb. mild/regular sausage
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 c. green pepper
- 2 tsp. minced parsley
- 1 tsp. minced basil leaves
- dash of garlic
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. mushrooms, chopped
- 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 2 c. milk
- 4 eggs
- dash of paprika
- 9-inch pastry for quiche dish or 2 frozen pie shells
- Cook sausage until browned; drain.
- Combine sausage with next 7 ingredients.
- Mix well.
- Spoon into pie shell.
- Top with shredded cheese.
- Combine milk and eggs and beat until foamy. Pour evenly over sausage mixture; sprinkle with paprika.
- Bake at 325u0b0 for 50 minutes or until cheese is lightly brown and quiche is set.
