Chicken Convention

  1. If not using croutons, trim, butter and cube slices of toast. Put half of bread cubes on bottom of buttered 9 x 13-inch pan. Saute green pepper, onion, celery and pimiento; mix with mayonnaise and cooked chicken.
  2. Spread mixture over bread cubes; then cover with remaining cubes.
  3. Beat eggs and milk together and pour over casserole.
  4. Refrigerate overnight.
  5. Bake for 1 hour at 350u0b0.
  6. Remove; spread soup over casserole.
  7. Sprinkle cheese on top.
  8. Return to oven for 30 more minutes.
  9. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting into squares.
  10. Serves about 8.
