Zeppole

  1. Bring

  3. ingredients
  4. to
  5. room
  6. temperature.
  7. Sift together the flour,
  8. salt,takingtowder and mace.
  9. Beat the eggs with the sugar
  10. until well blended.
  11. Stir in the milk and combine with the
  12. flour
  13. mixture.
  14. Beat vigorously until quite smooth.
  15. Cover and let
  16. stand
  17. 20 minutes.teat 2 to 3 inches of fat to 370u0b0 in
  18. a deep fryer or a large kettle or until fat is hot enough to brown
  19. at inch cube of bread in one minute. Using a spoon
  20. dipped in warm water slip a scant tablespoonful of dough, one at a
  21. time, into the fat.
  22. Fry Zeppole, a few at a

  24. 3 minutes or until golden.
  25. Zeppole will turn themselves as they cook.
  26. Remove with slotted spoon, drain on paper towel and roll in confectioners sugar.
