Banana Nut Bread

  1. Dissolve yeast in warm water.
  2. Scald milk and cool to lukewarm.
  3. Combine yeast, milk and one teaspoon of sugar in a large bowl.
  4. Sift in 1/2 cup of flour.
  5. Stir until flour is dampened.
  6. Cover bowl with a clean cloth and set in a warm place for about one hour.
