Hot Tuna Sandwich

  1. Trim crusts from bread.
  2. Butter one side of each slice.
  3. Grease pan, 9 x 9-inch pan.
  4. Place 4 slices buttered side down.
  5. Flake tuna or salmon or ham over bread.
  6. Add celery, onion and 1 slice of cheese on each slice of bread.
  7. Place bread buttered side up.
  8. Pour eggs beaten with milk over sandwiches.
  9. Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight.
  10. For larger pan (9 x 13-inch), increase egg mixture (1 egg and 1/2 cup milk) and 12 slices of bread.
  11. Bake at 350u0b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
