Spinach Casserole
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 c. sliced mushrooms
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 (10 oz.) pkg. spinach
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 pkg. cream cheese (8 oz.)
- 1/2 c. half and half
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 c. bread crumbs
- 1 tsp. Tabasco
- 1/2 lb. grated Gruyere cheese
- Melt butter.
- Add onions sauteed.
- Add mushrooms, garlic, spinach and Worcestershire sauce.
- Cook until spinach loses its color.
- Add cream cheese, half and half and seasonings.
- Cook until cream cheese is melted.
- Stir in bread crumbs and Tabasco. Grease casserole and pour in mixture.
- Sprinkle with grated Gruyere cheese.
- Bake uncovered for 15 minutes at 375u0b0.
