Greek Fish Appetizers

  1. Mix flour, salt and paprika in small saucepan.
  2. Stir in oil; mix until smooth.
  3. Add milk; mix well.
  4. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until thick and smooth.
  5. Remove from heat; stir in Worcestershire sauce, onion and whitefish.
  6. Refrigerate until chilled.
  7. Beat egg with 2 tablespoons water.
  8. Shape fish mixture into balls using a teaspoon for each.
  9. Roll in flour.
  10. Dip in egg. Roll in bread crumbs.
  11. Cook in deep fat at 350u0b0 until well browned. Drain on paper toweling.
  12. Place on serving plate.
  13. Insert end of small skewer or pick in each ball.
  14. Makes 48 balls.
