Cheese Danish
- 2 pkg. crescent rolls
- 2 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 stick butter
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 c. chopped pecans (optional)
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
- Grease a 13 x 9 baking dish.
- Unroll 1 can crescent rolls and put in the bottom of the baking dish, pressing perforations together.
- Ease the dough up the sides a little bit.
- Combine the cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, 1 egg and the vanilla.
- Mix until smooth with a mixer.
- Pour over the dough. Unroll the second package of crescent rolls.
- Lay on top and pinch the sides together, top and bottom.
- Mix together the remaining sugar, cinnamon and nuts.
- Melt the butter and combine with the sugar mixture.
- Pour over the top.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Refrigerate overnight before serving.
