Slang Jang
- 3 (8-ounce) cans cove oysters, drained and chopped
- 3 large heads cabbage, chopped
- 2 (16-ounce) jars sweet pickles, drained and chopped
- 2 (16-ounce) jars sour pickles, drained and chopped
- 1 (16-ounce) can tomatoes, drained and chopped
- 4 large green peppers, seeded and chopped
- 2 large onions, chopped
- 2 cooking apples, cored and chopped
- 1 large stalk celery, chopped
- 1/2 pod red pepper, chopped
- 1 small clove garlic, minced
- 3 hard-cooked eggs, sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 1/2 teaspoons dry mustard
- 3 pounds Longhorn cheese, sliced
- Assorted crackers
- Combine first 12 ingredients in a large container; stir well. Add salt, pepper, and mustard; mix well. Serve with Longhorn cheese and assorted crackers.
