Oven Chicken Stew
- 1 (32 oz.) pkg. frozen stew vegetables
- 1 chicken, cut up
- seasoning salt
- paprika
- 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/3 c. Sauterne wine
- 1 c. American cheese, grated
- 1 tsp. parsley flakes
- 1/4 c. pimiento, chopped
- Preheat
- oven
- to
- 325u0b0.
- Place
- frozen
- vegetables
- in greased 2 1/2 quart
- casserole
- or baking dish.
- Sprinkle with seasoning salt.
- Arrange chicken
- on top of the vegetables and sprinkle with seasoning
- salt
- and
- paprika.
- Combine the soup and wine; pour over
- the chicken and vegetables.
- Sprinkle the cheese, parsley flakes and
- pimiento over top.
- Cover and bake for 1 1/2 hours at
- 325u0b0.
- Remove cover and bake an additional 15 minutes.
