Turkey Sausage Strata
- 12 slices white bread, cubed (8 c.)
- 4 oz. (1 c.) shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 1 lb. turkey breakfast sausage
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 1/2 c. thawed cholesterol-free egg product
- 3 c. skim milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 (9 oz.) pkg. cut broccoli, thawed
- 1 jar sliced pimento, drained
- 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- Spray 13 x 9-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Layer bread, Mozzarella cheese, sausage, onion, broccoli and pimento in baking dish.
- In medium bowl, combine egg product, milk, salt and mustard; blend well.
- Pour over sausage mixture; sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- Cover.
- Refrigerate at least 6 hours or overnight.
- Heat oven to 325u0b0.
- Uncover; bake at 325u0b0 for 55 to 70 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean.
- Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
- Makes 12 servings.
