Fruit Smoothie
- 1 1/2 to 2 cups ice
- 1/4 c. apricot nectar
- 2 bananas
- 1/2 c. cranberry juice
- 1 (6 oz.) can frozen orange juice
- 1 c. pineapple chunks
- 1/4 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg (optional)
- 1/2 c. peaches or apricots (optional)
- 1/2 c. strawberries or blueberries (optional)
- 1/4 c. vanilla yogurt (optional)
- Add whichever optional ingredients you like.
- Be creative. Use a blender and add crushed ice.
- Put ingredients into blender one at a time and then blend to puree consistency.
- Add the additional, optional ingredients if you like.
- You may experiment and one at a time.
- Taste and experiment. .
- .Delicious!
- If too thick, more juice; if too thin, add an additional banana.
- Serve immediately!
- Makes 4 (8-ounce) portions.
