Butter Fruit Cake

  1. Cream margarine, flour, baking powder and salt.
  2. Beat eggs and add sugar; mix well.
  3. Add this mixture to the margarine and flour and mix well.
  4. Add chopped fruits, nuts and raisins; mix.
  5. Add vanilla.
  6. Pour into a greased and floured tube pan.
  7. (If tube pan is not available, use loaf pan.)
  8. Bake at 275u0b0 for about 2 hours. Invert pan to cool.
  9. To remove, run spatula around edges, including tube.
