Broccoli, Ham And Rice Au Gratin

  1. Melt the butter in a Dutch oven and saute the onion until tender.
  2. Add the soup, garlic powder and cheese.
  3. Stir until cheese has melted.
  4. Drain the mushrooms and the broccoli and add to the mixture along with the rice and the cooked, diced ham.
  5. Drain the pimentos and gently stir in the mixture.
  6. Spoon into a lightly greased baking dish.
  7. Cover and chill for 8 hours to let the flavors blend.
  8. When ready to bake, remove from refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  9. Cover and bake at 350u0b0 for 40 minutes.
  10. Remove cover and scatter crumbled onion rings on top.
  11. Return to oven and bake for 5 to 8 minutes more.
  12. Serves 6 to 8.
