Fruit Tea(Note: Should Be Made Under Adult Supervision.)
- 1 orange
- 1 lemon
- 1 tea bag
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 whole clove
- honey
- Fill a kettle with at least 6 cups of cold tap water.
- Place the pot on the stove and bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Place the orange on a cutting board and cut it into 4 pieces.
- Remove as many seeds as possible and put 2 of the quarters in the pot, reserving the remaining 2.
- Repeat process with the lemon.
- Add the tea bag, cinnamon stick and clove to the teapot.
- When the water in the kettle reaches boil, pour the heated water into the pot; cover and let the mixture steep for 3 minutes.
- Remove the cover and with a wooden spoon, press down on the fruit quarters.
- Stir the tea well, then remove the bag and other ingredients.
- Carefully fill 4 tea cups with the tea.
- Serve with honey and extra orange and lemon.
- Let friends sweeten and flavor their own tea.
