Barbecue Black Beans With Rum

  1. Cook chorizo in a large saucepan over medium heat until browned, stirring to crumble; drain and set aside. Add onion, garlic, and jalapenos to pan; cook 5 minutes or until onion is tender. Stir in ketchup and remaining ingredients except beans; bring to a boil. Reduce heat, and simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in the chorizo and beans; simmer for 1 hour over low heat, stirring occasionally.
