Chocolate Kiss Peanut Butter Cookies
- 2 2/3 c. sifted all-purpose flour*
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. butter, softened
- 2/3 c. creamy peanut butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 5 dozen Hershey's Kisses
- Preheat oven to 375u0b0.
- Sift flour with baking soda and salt. Set aside.tn large bowl with electric mixer at medium speed, beat butter and peanut butter until well blended.
- Add sugars and beat until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs and vanilla; beat until smooth.
- Stir in flour mixture until well combined.
- Using level tablespoon for each, shape into 5 dozen balls.
- Roll each in granulated sugar.
- Place 2-inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
- Bake 8 minutes.
- Remove from oven and press an unwrapped chocolate Kiss in the center of each; bake 2 minutes longer. Remove cookies to wire rack and cool completely.
