Chocolate Chip-Banana Bread
- 1/2 c. (1 stick) butter or margarine (room temperature)
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. milk
- 4 bananas, peeled and mashed
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 8 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- Spray 2 loaf pans with nonstick vegetable spray.
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
- Beat butter or margarine and sugar in a large bowl of electric mixer until creamy.
- Add milk, bananas, eggs and vanilla; mix until blended.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, salt, baking soda; stir to combine all dry ingredients and add to butter mixture.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Pour into prepared pans.
- Bake 60 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool.
- Makes 20 to 24 slices.
