Ground Beef Stroganoff
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 can sliced mushrooms
- 1/4 c. slivered almonds
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1 c. sour cream
- 2 to 3 sprigs parsley
- 1 green pepper
- 1 red pimento
- 1/4 tsp. paprika
- almonds, toasted
- Cook onion and flour in butter until golden brown.
- Add meat mixed with salt, pepper and paprika.
- Brown well.
- Add mushrooms, soup and green pepper.
- Cook 5 minutes.
- Add sour cream and heat until all the mixture is hot.
- Serve over Chinese noodles or rice. Sprinkle toasted almonds on top.
- Garnish with parsley and pimentos.
