Chicken Spaghetti
- 1 large chicken or 4 breasts
- 2 tsp. bacon drippings
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 can tomato sauce (16 oz., sometimes more)
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 can tomato soup
- 4 ribs celery
- 1 can tomato paste (6 oz.)
- 1 bell pepper
- salt and pepper
- 1 bunch green onions
- 1 bay leaf
- dried parsley
- 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 c. broth (usually less)
- Boil chicken in seasoned water. Save broth.
- Bone chicken and cut into large pieces.
- Saute onions, garlic, celery, bell pepper and green onions in hot grease.
- Add parsley.
- Add to this the 3 tomato products and seasonings.
- Thin mixture with broth and add chicken. Cover and simmer 1 hour.
- Serve over spaghetti.
