Bean And Macaroni Soup

  1. In oil saute onion, pepper and garlic 5 minutes.
  2. Add tomato sauce.
  3. Simmer 30 minutes.
  4. Add a little water as needed.
  5. Stir frequently.
  6. Add drained beans, parsley, green onion and liquid (bean and water).
  7. Season to taste.
  8. Cook for 10 minutes.
  9. Stir in cooked macaroni and simmer 5 more minutes.
  10. (Cook macaroni about 8 minutes.)
  11. Sprinkle with bacon.
  12. Serves 6.
