Stromboli
- 2 loaves frozen bread dough
- 1 lb. ham, thinly sliced
- 3/4 lb. salami, thinly sliced
- 1 lb. Provolone cheese, sliced
- 3/4 lb. Mozzarella cheese, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced (optional)
- 1/2 lb. sauteed fresh mushrooms (optional)
- oregano
- basil
- Allow dough to thaw at room temperature, about 1 hour.
- Pull dough lengthwise.
- Stretch each loaf to form a rectangle about 6 x 12-inches.
- Down center of rectangle, layer 1/2 the ham, salami, cheeses, onions and mushrooms, if desired.
- Be sure to overlap ingredients among layers.
- Sprinkle with oregano and basil.
- Fold both sides of dough to meet at middle.
- Pinch seams together. Repeat with 2nd rectangle and remaining ingredients.
- Place on ungreased baking sheet.
- Bake at 375u0b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
- Slice and serve immediately.
