Pineapple Pound Cake
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 c. butter
- 2 3/4 c. sugar
- 6 eggs
- 3 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 c. sweet milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3/4 c. pineapple (undrained)
- Pineapple Glaze
- Combine shortening, butter and sugar; cream until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time.
- Combine flour and baking powder; add

- creamed
- mixture
- alternately
- with milk and vanilla. Stir
- in
- crushed pineapple.
- Pour batter into well-greased and floured
- 10-inch tube pan.
- Place in a cold oven; bake in a
- 325u0b0 oven
- for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until cake tests done.
- Cool in
- pan
- 10
- to
- 15
- minutes.
- Invert
- onto serving plate; drizzle Pineapple Glaze over top and sides.
