Easy Chicken A La King

  1. In a medium skillet over medium heat, saute mushrooms in butter or margarine for 3 minutes or until limp.
  2. Stir in peas and onions, breaking pieces apart.
  3. Cover and steam for 4 minutes or until peas are tender.
  4. Stir in soup and milk until blended.
  5. Stir in chicken, pimiento and pepper.
  6. Stirring, bring to a boil. Remove from heat; stir in cheese until melted and blended.
  7. Serve over buttered toast, patty shells, biscuits or hot cooked noodles. Serves 4.
