Super Nacho
- 8 oz. lean ground beef
- 1/2 (1 1/8 to 1 1/4 oz.) pkg. taco seasoning mix (about 2 Tbsp.)
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can jalapeno bean dip
- 1/2 c. shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 Tbsp. chopped green chilies
- 1 c. shredded or chopped lettuce
- 2 medium tomatoes, chopped coarse
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cheese flavored tortilla chips
- 1/2 c. guacamole (homemade or purchased)
- 1/2 c. sour cream
- In a large skillet, cook meat until browned; drain.
- Add seasoning mix and water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 15 to 20 minutes or until meat is cooked and flavors have blended. Set aside.
- Spread bean dip to cover bottom of a 12 to 14-inch pizza pan.
- Sprinkle with cheeses. Top with the meat mixture, then sprinkle with chilies.
- Broil 5 to 7 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and brown.
- Around edge of pan, arrange a border of lettuce, then tomatoes, then tortilla chips.
- Place mound of guacamole topped with sour cream in center.
- Makes 4 servings.
