Jimmy Dean Sizzlin' Sausage Melt

• 1 package Regular Flavor Jimmy Dean Pork Sausage, cooked, crumbled and drained
• 1 clove garlic, crushed
• 1/4 cup shallots, finely chopped
• 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
• 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
• 1 (4-ounce) jar chopped pimientos
• 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
• 1 loaf thinly sliced Italian bread or party rye
• 6 3-inch strips roasted red pepper to garnish (optional)

1. Preheat oven 375u0b0 F. In mixing bowl, combine cooked sausage, garlic, shallots, Parmesan, cream cheese, and pimientos; mix well. Spoon mixture into a shallow ovenproof dish or pie plate; sprinkle top with Mozzarella cheese. Garnish with roasted pepper strips if desired. Bake 15 minutes or until cheese is lightly browned. Serve with Italian party rye bread.
