Apple Banana Bread(A Recipe From 1973 Temple Daily Paper)

  1. Core and peel apples, chopped fine.
  2. Sprinkle with a little lemon juice to prevent discoloration.
  3. Add mashed bananas to apples.
  4. Mix well.
  5. Cream butter; add sugar and cream well.
  6. Add eggs, beating after each addition.
  7. Stir in apples and bananas. Mix flour, baking powder, soda and salt; sift together.
  8. Stir into mixture and mix well.
  9. Add flavoring and mix.
  10. Pour into 2 well greased and floured loaf pans, 8 x 5 x 3-inch.
  11. Bake at 325u0b0 for 1 hour or until done.
  12. Remove from pan.
  13. Cool well.
