Almond Apple Wheat Bread Stuffing

  1. Saute apples, almonds, onions and celery in butter for 5 minutes (stirring frequently).
  2. Remove from heat.
  3. Stir in cinnamon, poultry seasoning and salt.
  4. Toss together bread cubes and raisins.
  5. Add apple mixture.
  6. Stir egg and 1/3 cup cider together and add to bread mixture.
  7. Add remaining apple cider if a moister stuffing is desired.
