Beef Stir-Fry

  1. Place steak in a bowl with cornstarch, 5 Spice and soy sauce. Mix and let sit 20 minutes to marinate.
  2. Meanwhile, slice florets from stalks, slice the stalks diagonally into thin oval shapes and chop florets in small heads.
  3. Heat oil in wok or large skillet. Add marinated steak, ginger and garlic and fry 3 to 4 minutes. Add pepper, broccoli and onion and fry 2 minutes.
  4. Add sherry and water.
  5. Cover and steam 1 minute.
  6. Serve immediately over rice.
