Oklahoma Baked Beans
- 4 slices lean bacon, fried crisp
- 1/2 c. chopped onion, broken into pieces
- 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
- 1/2 c. ketchup
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. powdered barbecue seasoning
- 1/2 tsp. liquid smoke
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 1 (31 oz.) can pork and beans, partially drained
- In small skillet, fry bacon.
- Remove and set aside.
- Saute onion and green pepper until onion becomes transparent.
- Drain on paper towel.
- In large bowl, combine ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, barbecue seasoning, liquid smoke and dry mustard.
- Combine rest of ingredients.
- Pour into 2-quart casserole dish.
- Bake at 350u0b0
- for 30 to 45 minutes.
