Mexican Layered Dip
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1 (8 oz.) carton French onion chip dip
- 1/2 pkg. Ranch dressing mix
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 medium chopped onion
- 1 envelope taco seasoning
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar
- 2 c. shredded lettuce
- 2 chopped tomatoes
- 1 chopped green pepper
- 1 can sliced black olives (optional)
- Combine cream cheese, chip dip and dressing mix with beater until smooth.
- Layer on bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan, dish or Tupperware.
- Brown ground meat with onion.
- Drain and cool slightly.
- Layer on top of cream cheese mixture.
- Next, layer cheese, then lettuce, then tomatoes, pepper and olives. Refrigerate several hours or overnight.
- Serve with tortilla chips.
