No Knead Cinnamon Rolls
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 1/2 c. warm water
- 6 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 beaten egg
- 3/4 c. oil or melted butter
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- approximately 5 1/4 c. sifted flour
- Sprinkle yeast on lukewarm water in large bowl.
- Add sugar, egg, oil and salt.
- Add 2 cups flour.
- Beat well.
- Add remaining flour; mix well with hands.
- Remove dough from bowl.
- Grease bowl and return dough.
- Cover with towel; let rise in warm place until double in bulk, approximately 1 1/2 hours.
- Punch down.
- Divide into 2 balls.
- Roll or pull out to rectangle 12 to 18 inches.
- Melt 3 tablespoons butter or oleo.
- Spread enough to cover dough. Sprinkle brown sugar, 3/4 cup to cover and 1/4 cup cinnamon.
- Roll up and pinch ends.
- Place cut side down on greased 8-inch cake pan. Let rise again until double.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 20 to 25 minutes or until brown.
- Cool and frost.
- Makes 2 dozen.
