Chicken And Broccoli Casserole

  1. Heat oven to 350u0b0. Cook macaroni according to directions, omitting salt and fat. Drain well. Heat oil or shortening in large skillet on medium heat. Add onion and garlic and saute until tender. Add chicken and cook until no longer pink. Stir in tomatoes, tomato sauce, ketchup, basil, oregano and salt. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Combine macaroni, broccoli and chicken mixture with 1/4 cup cheese. Stir well. Spoon into 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish. Sprinkle remaining 1/4 cup cheese on top. Bake at 350u0b0 for 20 minutes. Serves 8.
