Almond Joy Cake(Makes Two 9 X 13-Inch Cakes.)

  1. Make cake according to directions.
  2. Pour into two 9 x 13-inch pans.
  3. Bake 20 minutes at 350u0b0.
  4. Mix 1 cup evaporated milk and 1 cup sugar.
  5. Bring to a boil and add marshmallows.
  6. Stir over low heat until dissolved.
  7. Add shredded coconut and pour over hot cake.
  8. Then heat to boiling 1 1/2 cups sugar, 1/2 cup Carnation milk and oleo.
  9. Remove from heat and add chocolate chips. Stir over low heat until melted and pour over cake.
  10. Sprinkle with toasted almonds.
